Q&T Partially Filled Type Magnetic Flow Meter: Solving the Non-Full Pipe Measurement Challenge

2026-07-08
In many real-world conditions, such as municipal sewer networks, stormwater drainage systems, and agricultural irrigation channels, pipelines rarely operate under full-pipe conditions. Traditional electromagnetic flow meters require the pipe to be completely filled with fluid at all times; when the liquid level drops below the electrodes, the measurement circuit opens, causing readings to fluctuate wildly or fail entirely. Q&T's Partially Filled Type Magnetic Flow Meter was developed specifically to overcome this limitation.

Wide Range of Conductive Liquid Applications
The meter is designed for conductive liquids with a conductivity of ≥20 μS/cm, covering municipal sewage, industrial wastewater, stormwater runoff, and irrigation water. The electromagnetic sensing principle is inherently unaffected by fluid density, viscosity, temperature, and pressure variations, ensuring stable performance across diverse operating conditions.

No Pressure Loss, No Obstruction
The meter's internal design contains no throttling or moving parts. Installation does not raise the upstream water level or create head loss, ensuring unimpeded flow through the pipeline — a critical advantage in gravity-fed drainage and sewer systems.

Application:The Q&T Partially Filled Type Magnetic Flow Meter is ideally suited for:
Municipal Sewer Networks
Wastewater Treatment Plants
Agricultural Irrigation
Industrial Wastewater Discharge
