Q&T Upgrades Coriolis Mass Flow Meter Workshop with CNC Pipe Bending Machine
Q&T INSTRUMENT CO., LTD. has introduced advanced CNC Pipe Bending Machines into its Coriolis mass flow meter production workshop, marking a new step in the company’s manufacturing upgrade. The new equipment enables high-precision forming of stainless-steel measuring tubes, ensuring consistent geometry for U-type and special-shape Coriolis sensors.
With servo-driven control, the CNC pipe bending machine achieves repeatable bending angles and smooth tube profiles, which are critical to the vibration stability and measurement accuracy of Coriolis mass flow meters. Combined with Q&T’s calibration systems and strict quality inspection, the workshop can better serve petrochemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and oil & gas customers requiring ±0.2% or ±0.1% accuracy.
The investment reflects Q&T’s strategy of linking smart fabrication equipment with high-end flow instrumentation. By improving tube-forming efficiency and reducing manual rework, the company shortens lead times while maintaining international quality standards.
“Advanced equipment is the backbone of precision instrumentation,” said a Q&T production manager. “Our CNC bending line helps turn complex designs into reliable Coriolis meters at scale.”
