Natural gas turbine flow meter
A gas turbine flow meter is a precision instrument designed to measure the volumetric of clean, dry, and low-to-medium viscosity gases. It operates on the principle that the gas flow drives a multi-bladed rotor positioned in the flow stream; the rotational speed of the rotor is directly proportional to the gas velocity. By detecting the rotor’s rotation through magnetic or optical sensors, the meter provides highly accurate and repeatable flow measurement.
