Core Selection Steps for Q&T magnetic flow meters:

1.  Verify Electrical Conductivity. This is the absolute prerequisite for determining whether an electromagnetic flowmeter can be utilized.
2.  Analyze Chemical and Physical Properties. Clearly identify the medium's corrosiveness, abrasiveness, temperature, pressure, and whether it contains solid particles.
3. Match the Electrode Material. Based on the corrosion analysis, select an electrode that provides sufficient corrosion resistance while remaining cost-effective.
4. Match the Liner Material. Choose the appropriate liner based on the medium's abrasiveness, temperature, and corrosiveness.
5. Confirm Additional Requirements. Determine if special functions are needed, such as explosion-proof certification, sanitary approvals, high-pressure tolerance, high-precision measurement, or battery power supply.

Summary:  There is no "universal" electromagnetic flowmeter. The most expensive or premium materials are not always the most suitable one.
Successful selection is always about "prescribing the right medicine for the illness"—finding the optimal balance among performance, service life, and cost.
