Thermal mass flow meters work based on heat‑transfer principle. Two temperature‑sensing probes are inserted into gas pipelines. Flowing gas takes heat away from the heated sensor. By detecting temperature difference, the meter directly calculates gas mass‑flow rate. It suits biogas, compressed‑air and exhaust‑gas measurement, with no moving parts and low pressure loss.
