In the iron and steel metallurgy industry, electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used to measure cooling water in blast furnace leak detection, continuous casting and rolling control. The measurement signal of the cooling water is often associated with the opening of the equipment, and any misoperation will cause irreparable losses. The accuracy and reliability of measurement and control are related to the equipment safety, energy saving, and performance indicators of steel products. Therefore, the electromagnetic flowmeter must have fast response, high sensitivity, repeatability, stability, and reliability in the steel production process.
Recently, our foreign customer has selected 20pcs Q&T DN100 and DN150 electromagnetic flowmeters to measure the cooling water of continuous casting in a steel plant. The 20pcs electromagnetic flow meters are working fine.
